work

Today was a ridiculous day at work. But it is over and I have moved on. I did enjoy some delicious Moroccan food today! Yum. See here for a picture of my favorite vegetable platter. Everytime I get it the flavors are different which I enjoy because it tells me that the stuff is handmade and fresh. Its not a cookie cutter meal, even if it is produced in bulk. It was super hot outside and almost so hot that I didn’t want to make the short walk to the cafe. But I sucked it up and walked over there. It is an open air cafe, so no a/c but I was able to find a secluded shady spot by a fountain to enjoy my meal.

Luckily tomorrow will be my last day of having to work part of the day outside of the office so I can return to a more regular schedule. I go in early and leave later tomorrow, so I plan on hitting the gym after work. I get to go in late on Friday and Saturday so I am planning on a brick workout, probably Friday. I feel gross for not working out today or yesterday. I usually take two rest days a week but not in a row. Gross. For a snack today, I had some vanilla soy yogurt with fresh blackberries. I think that vanilla soy yogurt is my favorite of all the flavors! I actually have never had it before and got a tub of it to make the blondies. It was the perfect snack because it bridged the gap between lunch and making it home. For dinner I had the banana that I missed at breakfast and Ezekiel bread with almond butter and organic strawberry jam. Oh so delicious.

Next week I have an involved to-do list, so I really need to get things done.

Random thought of the day…I have not had TV since Sunday and I haven’t missed it. I’m ok with this.

I follow a strict diet that I do not recommend for everyone, but I really enjoy as it keeps me healthy and helps me to know what is going into my body.
