I’m feeling much better today. My mind and my body have resolved their issues and are functioning as one again. Just a quick one today. The next two days are going to be *crazy*. So the brownies were deemed by co-workers to not be a loss. They liked them and said that the difference was a more chocolat-y flavor versus a sweet flavor. Maybe so. The chocolate was a high quality unsweetened cocoa, so that is probably why. The blondies were of course a hit. For breakfast, I ventured away from my Grape Nuts/Kashi/Raisin Bran cereal kick and had some Oatmeal Squares and the brand name is escaping me. They were cinnamon flavor and were mixed with some Kashi. Very delicious! Lunch was a bowl of watermelon and the Amy’s Black-Eye Pea, Brown Rice and Veggie bowl. Always a winner. I also snatched a small square of blondie for dessert :). Dinner tonight was just two slices of toasted Sesame Seed Ezekiel bread with unsweetened organic applesauce. My new thing is using applesauce like a jam. It works soooo well! And I don’t have to worry about HFCS or gelatin. Tomorrow will probably be a Moroccan meal (hooray!) as I will be out of the office most of the morning. Tonight I am not working out either, so that I can wake up ultra early and make the commute to work. Ugh! Not much longer! The next day that I workout will probably be Thursday if not Friday, which I am not happy about, but after these long days I don’t have much energy for exercise.

Oh also, yesterday, I forgot to mention that I got my half.com ordered copy of Veganomicon! I can’t wait to leaf through it and make some delicious meals.

I follow a strict diet that I do not recommend for everyone, but I really enjoy as it keeps me healthy and helps me to know what is going into my body.
