Another work week is over. Thank goodness. Sadly, its not going to get much better the next few weeks.

My food store list is almost complete. I don’t think its going to be an exciting cooking weekend. I am trying to scale down on my food buying since I will be taking a two month siesta from the in-laws abode. So it will probably be salads, boca burgers, soy dogs, and some sort of nut butter and jam. Of course, veggies and fruits will be combine with that. Plus there are two opportunities for me to eat at the Moroccan place again. Yum. I am planning on possibly making some cookies or brownies or something. Oh and this dressing. I also have some balsamic maple reduction that I may mix with some olive oil and see how that turns out for a dressing.

No swimming today. When I woke up this morning I decided to just lounge around and enjoy not being rushed. I hate being rushed, especially in the morning. That’s why my internal alarm will never let me sleep past 0630. Tomorrow I plan on running in the morning and hopefully getting to the gym for at least a strength workout if not a swim :).

It is dog washing weekend. Other than that, I have the regular chores and maybe I can get J’s stuff packed. Only about 20 days until I get to see him again! So unbelievable.

About OneVeganFoodie

Let's see. I am a certified personal trainer (CPT), group exercise instructor, nutritional counselor, and wellness counselor. My training background focuses mainly on getting overweight populations into shape, but I have worked with people wanting to gain strength/healthy weight and agility. I worked with the Army and the Marines for several years before settling into a civilian lifestyle. I'm still adjusting and I really miss it. I also enjoy coaching non-runners through their first running event. I post my workouts on here but remember that you need to seek medical advice prior to starting a new exercise regimine. I also love food. I've been vegetarian for 10 years and 4 of the last years I have been completely vegan. I love food and I love to cook. I follow a strict diet that I do not recommend for everyone, but I really enjoy as it keeps me healthy and helps me to know what is going into my body.
